Detailing is a full reset of the vehicle rather than a clean, and it only works if the assessment comes first. Every car detailing Melbourne booking begins with an inspection under specialist lighting so we can see exactly what the paint and interior need before anything is opened.

Melbourne is harder on cars than people expect. Summer UV flattens colour, plane trees drop sap across half the inner suburbs, and the wet months leave a film of road grime that bonds to the surface and stays there. Add rapid temperature swings and the water spotting that follows, and paint ages faster than the odometer suggests.

From there the work splits in two. The exterior side handles decontamination, clay bar treatment and machine polishing. The interior side handles vacuuming, steam cleaning, leather conditioning where applicable and a detailed clean of every panel, vent and glass surface.

Assessment

We inspect your paint under specialist lighting to identify swirl marks, etching and bonded contamination.

Decontamination and Correction

Safe wash, iron fallout and tar removal, clay bar treatment, then machine polishing matched to the condition of your paint.

Interior and Final Check

A full interior detail by hand, then a final inspection under lighting before the vehicle is signed off and handed back.

You can book a standalone detail, or use detailing as the preparation stage for ceramic coating or paint protection film. The standard of work is identical either way.

The cabin takes the heaviest wear and shows it first. Coffee on the console, mud through winter, and sun through the windscreen that hardens plastics and fades trim long before the paint gives up.

Our interior work is done by hand using steam, dedicated fabric and leather products, and detail brushes for the areas a vacuum will never reach. Trim is cleaned rather than coated in silicone, so panels look factory correct instead of artificially glossy.

Exterior work is where the visible difference is made. Paint that looks dull and lifeless is almost always a surface problem rather than a paint problem, and correcting it is a controlled process rather than a quick buff.

We begin with a foam pre soak and safe wash, then move to iron fallout and tar removal followed by a clay bar treatment to strip bonded contamination. Machine polishing is then matched to your paint, removing swirl marks, light scratches and water etching without taking away more clear coat than necessary.

We never apply a ceramic coating over undetailed paint. Every vehicle we coat undergoes full decontamination and paint correction first, no exceptions.
