#1 Ceramic Coating on the Gold Coast
Ceramic coating applied at our Arundel studio by GTechniq and Kovalent accredited installers, built for the conditions cars actually face here. Salt air, high UV and summer storms age unprotected paint faster than owners expect.
Why Choose Ceramic Coating
Ceramic coating Gold Coast customers choose us for one reason above all: preparation. A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds chemically with your factory paintwork and cures into a clear layer rated up to 10H on the hardness scale. It is not a wax that sits on the surface and washes away. It becomes part of the surface, which is why it lasts years rather than weeks.
The practical difference shows up every time you wash the car. Water and dirt bead and roll off rather than clinging, so the vehicle stays cleaner between washes and each wash carries far less risk of introducing swirl marks.
What a coating delivers
- Bonds at a molecular level to your clear coat
- Rated up to 10H hardness
- Strong UV and chemical resistance
- Hydrophobic, self cleaning surface
- Deep, reflective gloss that holds
- Five years or more with proper care

Our Gold Coast Packages
Every ceramic coating Gold Coast package is built around your vehicle rather than pulled off a shelf. What changes between them is the product tier, the amount of correction required first, and how many surfaces beyond the paint you want covered.
Through Kovalent we use their Graphene Matrix coating, engineered to self correct microscopic surface scratches over time. Through GTechniq we have access to their full accredited range. Both carry manufacturer backing and 24/7 support.
Surfaces we can cover
- Paintwork across every panel
- Alloy wheels, including the barrels
- Glass, for clearer visibility in rain
- Leather and fabric interior protection
- Paint protection film on high impact panels

Application Process
A coating bonds to whatever surface it is given. If that surface still carries iron fallout, tar, road film or polish residue, the coating bonds to the contamination rather than the clear coat, and it lifts early no matter how good the product was.
That is why every vehicle we coat goes through full decontamination, clay bar treatment, machine polishing matched to its paint, and an alcohol wipe down immediately before application. Skip any of it and the life of the coating is shortened on day one.

Protection for Gold Coast Conditions
The Gold Coast combines several of the things that age automotive paint fastest, and it does so all year rather than seasonally. Ask anyone who has owned a dark coloured car here for five years without protection.
Salt carries inland on the sea breeze and settles on every panel between washes. UV levels stay high for most of the year. Bird and bat droppings are acidic and can etch unprotected clear coat within hours in summer heat. Summer storms and mineral heavy water leave spotting that etches in if left to dry.
What we see most here
- Salt bonding to clear coat between washes
- Oxidation and colour fade on reds and blacks
- Etching from bird and bat droppings
- Water spotting after summer storms
- Stone chips from the M1 and hinterland roads

Get a Quote
Every ceramic coating Gold Coast job is quoted individually after an assessment, because the condition of your paint is the largest variable and nobody can judge it from a phone call. Bring the car to Arundel and we will look at it properly.
The consultation is free, includes a workshop tour, and ends with an itemised quote and an honest recommendation. Sometimes that means less work than you expected rather than more. There is no pressure and no invented problems.

Frequently Asked Questions
The questions Gold Coast customers ask us most. If yours is not covered, call us on 1300 300 100.
Where is your Gold Coast studio?
At 3/4 Telford Place, Arundel QLD 4214, open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with Saturdays by appointment. Easy to reach from Southport, Surfers Paradise, Helensvale, Nerang and Robina. See all three studios on our locations page.
How long does a ceramic coating last?
It depends on the product tier and maintenance. Entry level coatings give one to two years, mid range products three to five, and the premium GTechniq and Kovalent systems we use are engineered for five years or more with proper care and the annual service.
How much does ceramic coating cost?
Every vehicle is quoted individually, because the biggest variable is the condition of your paint rather than the product itself. Vehicle size matters too. The consultation is free, includes a workshop tour, and ends with an itemised quote for your actual car. This is not a market to compare on price alone, and the value sits in the preparation.
Does my paint need correcting first?
On most vehicles, yes. Coatings and film both seal in whatever is underneath them, so any swirl marks, scratches or contamination present at application stay there. We assess every vehicle and correct only what needs correcting. If a quote you have received does not mention preparation, ask why.
Will my brand new car still need polishing?
Usually yes. Even on a brand new car we can generally find imperfections. New cars sit in yards, get handled many times, and travel on and off trucks and ships to reach Australia over several months. They are never truly brand new.
Does a coating stop stone chips?
No. A coating creates a hydrophobic surface that repels dirt, rainwater and droppings and dramatically reduces washing time, but it will not stop physical impact. For that you need paint protection film on the high impact panels.
Do you offer a loan car?
Yes. We have more than 30 loan cars across our Brisbane, Gold Coast and Melbourne studios, so your day is not disrupted while we work on your vehicle. Let us know when you book and we will organise one.
