A Flawless Finish

Paint correction Gold Coast work almost always starts with the same observation: paint that looks dull and lifeless is a surface problem rather than a paint problem. Light hits thousands of fine scratches and scatters instead of reflecting cleanly, which reads as flat, tired colour.

Paint correction levels that surface by removing a microscopic layer of clear coat, eliminating the defects sitting within it. Done properly, the depth and clarity come back and the car looks closer to how it left the factory than most owners expect is possible.

It is finite work. Your clear coat measures a fraction of a millimetre, so we correct to the minimum necessary rather than the maximum possible. Anyone offering unlimited correction is not looking after your paint.

What correction removes

  • Swirl marks from poor wash technique
  • Light scratches and wash marring
  • Salt and water spot etching
  • Oxidation and colour fade
  • Bonded contamination and fallout
  • Holograms from previous machine work

Our Services

Paint correction Gold Coast jobs are graded by stages, and the number your paint needs is determined by inspection rather than chosen from a menu in advance.

A single stage uses one compound and pad combination to remove lighter defects and restore gloss. Two stage work adds a cutting ccpx-step before refining, removing deeper defects then eliminating the haze that cutting creates. Three stage adds a further refinement pass, usually on darker or softer paint.

What we offer

  • Single stage enhancement polish
  • Two stage correction for moderate defects
  • Three stage correction for heavily marked paint
  • Decontamination and clay bar treatment
  • Correction as preparation for coating or film

Pricing

Paint correction Gold Coast pricing is set by the condition of your paint and the number of stages required, which is why we assess every vehicle before quoting rather than publishing a fixed figure.

A well maintained late model car needs comparatively little. A vehicle that has spent years parked outdoors near the coast and been through automatic brush washes needs considerably more. The hours involved are what you are paying for, and the consultation is free.

What determines the quote

  • Number of correction stages required
  • Vehicle size and total panel area
  • Paint hardness and current condition
  • Whether a coating is being applied afterwards
  • Any additional surfaces included

Why Choose Us

Detailing and correction are unregulated trades, which means the range in quality is enormous. Our team corrects paint to the standard required before a permanent coating goes on, because that is what most of our work is. There is no lower setting.

We are accredited by both GTechniq and Kovalent, two of Australia's most respected names in automotive surface protection, each offering 24/7 support. Work is carried out in an enclosed workshop rather than a driveway, which is what keeps airborne contamination out of the finish.

What sets the work apart

  • Accredited, audited and manufacturer backed
  • More than 7,000 vehicles protected
  • Test section completed before committing
  • Alcohol wipe down to confirm genuine correction
  • An honest assessment, even when it means less work

Corrected paintwork inspected under specialist lighting before handover

Our Gold Coast Correction Process

Every vehicle follows the same disciplined sequence in a controlled, enclosed workshop.

01

Assessment

Your paint is inspected under specialist lighting to identify swirl marks, salt etching, oxidation and bonded contamination, and to judge how many stages are needed.

02

Decontamination

A full decontamination wash, iron fallout and tar removal, then a clay bar treatment. Coastal cars often carry more bonded contamination than owners expect.

03

Test Section

A small section is corrected and assessed before we commit to the whole vehicle, so the compound and pad combination suits your specific paint.

04

Machine Polishing

Correction is carried out stage by stage, cutting first where required and refining afterwards to eliminate any haze the cutting creates.

05

Final Inspection

Every panel is checked under specialist lighting, then wiped down with alcohol to confirm the correction is genuine rather than filled.

Correction is the stage that makes everything else work. If you are planning a ceramic coating or paint protection film, correction happens first without exception, because both bond permanently and seal in whatever is underneath them.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions Gold Coast customers ask us most about paint correction. If yours is not here, call 1300 300 100.

Where is your Gold Coast studio?

At 3/4 Telford Place, Arundel QLD 4214, open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with Saturdays by appointment. Easy to reach from Southport, Surfers Paradise, Helensvale, Nerang and Robina. See all three studios on our locations page.

Can you remove every scratch?

No, and anyone who says otherwise is overpromising. If a scratch catches your fingernail it has gone through the clear coat and cannot be polished out safely. Everything sitting within the clear coat, which is most of what makes paint look tired, comes out.

How much does paint correction cost?

Every vehicle is quoted individually, because the biggest variable is the condition of your paint rather than the product itself. Vehicle size matters too. The consultation is free, includes a workshop tour, and ends with an itemised quote for your actual car. This is not a market to compare on price alone, and the value sits in the preparation.

Does coastal air make correction more necessary?

It makes it more frequent. Salt settles on every panel between washes and bonds to the clear coat, and combined with high UV it accelerates oxidation. Coastal cars typically carry more bonded contamination and need decontamination more often than inland vehicles.

Do I need correction before a ceramic coating?

Yes. A coating bonds permanently, so any swirl marks or contamination present at application are locked in underneath it for the life of the coating. Every vehicle we coat goes through correction first.

How long will you need my car for?

Typically one to three days depending on the size of the vehicle and how many stages are required. We confirm a timeline once we have assessed the paint, and loan cars are available.

Do you offer a loan car?

Yes. We have more than 30 loan cars across our Brisbane, Gold Coast and Melbourne studios, so your day is not disrupted while we work on your vehicle. Let us know when you book and we will organise one.
